Dave Sehn

Dave draws on his many years of experience in financial and analysis roles, and passion for roller hockey to bring financial stability and sound guidance to the board-of-directors team to help sport and active recreation flourish.

Dave was a latecomer to organized hockey starting at the age of 21 by joining the Sportsplex league in Langley, BC but grew up playing street hockey with his brothers; who also joined him in playing organized hockey. After moving out to Lethbridge, AB where they had no roller hockey Dave saw an opportunity to start Roller Hockey in Lethbridge. He believes in the essential role that sport and active recreation play in shaping our communities and their members and SPAR's ability to build happy and healthier societies.

Shortly after getting involved in organizing roller hockey, and RHL becoming a part of AMRHA, Dave was recruited to the board of Roller Hockey Canada to serve as VP-Operations/Finance. Dave is also an active member of the Board of Directors for the Lethbridge Sport Council, serving as Secretary, is the Secretary/Treasurer for the Alberta Elite Roller Hockey Association and volunteers on the Lethbridge Sport Tourism Advisory Committee.

When he’s not dedicating his spare hours to volunteering, Dave spends his working hours with TELUS as a Manager of Business Intelligence. The rest of the time gets filled up by family both in Lethbridge and the Lower Mainland where he was born and raised.
